Not every parent or guardian has the same level of technical experience, and it can make conversations about AI in education even more challenging. To address this, the AI Literacy Working Group has created a series of family facing videos to help explain the role of generative AI and artificial intelligence as a whole within CPS' instructional vision. Each video ranges from 3-5 minutes in length and is intended for all levels of technical experience. Session participants will watch some of the videos created by the working group and also learn of other the strategies and materials to use when communicating with families and community members about generative AI in the district.
