Designed for social studies classrooms, this session focuses on using Gale resources to drive inquiry-based learning aligned to historical thinking and civic reasoning skills. We will explore various Gale In Context resources to examine multiple perspectives, connect past to present, and support evidence-based claims. We’ll model how to use articles, biographies, news, primary sources, and more for warm-ups, document analysis, and DBQs that fit into daily instruction - not just end-of-unit projects and research. Teachers will leave with premade, ready-to-use social studies classroom activities that can be implemented the very next day!
